All prescribed protective measures are observed. And the view of the Blue Wonder and the great restaurant including beer garden and great staff is always worth a visit!

The spatial distribution of the stalls including the Christmas tree sale is such that the distances can be maintained. After shopping, you can enjoy the view on the banks of the Elbe.

Thanks for the delicious St. Martin's goose. Everything tasted delicious. The temperature of the ingredients so it was perfect. Since you also know where the geese come from and even this loving thank you from the restaurant, you can only rave about it. The price / performance ratio was right. The celebratory meal was delivered right on time. Thank you for your service.

We ordered at short notice on Saturday evening for 4 people. Got a wonderful place and the service was very friendly, especially Laura. The ambience is wonderfully classic and takes you back to a long time in style. You don't have to say much about the food, we had 4 different dishes. All 4 were first class cooked and had exceptionally good taste.

It was a wonderful evening with a great atmosphere and a view of the illuminated blue wonder. The staff was very friendly, attentive and quick. The food was very good and the price / performance ratio was okay. The hygiene regulations were also observed and so not every table was occupied, which I found very good. I will definitely come back.

We have been coming to the Schillergarten for years, but we don't think what was going on this time is okay. No masks are worn, nor in the kitchen, nor by the service staff who bring the food to the table ... A reason for us not to come anymore because we have two elderly people with us and the corona regulations are really 0.

Relaxed Dixieland music afternoon today. Coming from the city center, you can get off here by steamer and fall into the middle of the beer garden. The homemade ice cream is very tasty.

Great gastronomy. Kitchen and service well organized and in a good mood. Wonderful location which fortunately has risen again in its old splendor.

The food was excellent and plentiful ... have tested pork knuckle, sauerbraten, porcini pappardelle and Caesar's salad ... mmm ... the panna cotta was also great. In addition, a great ambience with live music, dance and great lighting as well as very nice and courteous service ... to be honest: unforgettable!

Sitting under the chestnuts and looking at the Elbe, what more could you want ... drinks and food of course! Both fit and, all in all, make full marks.

I am enthusiastic about the charm and flair, friendly staff, who serve quickly. Towards evening the blue wonder is illuminated, which looks very romantic. The people of Dresden want to get out again and experience something. There was also free entry to Cuban rhythms on August 15, 2020. A great evening with wonderful weather.

For me one of the most beautiful beer gardens, if not the most beautiful in Dresden. I've been there 3 times now and was never disappointed. The beer can easily compete with the Bavarian and the food is also very good. Then the beautiful location on the Elbe and the blue wonder, perfect.

Nice beer garden with a view of the Elbe and the Blue Wonder. Large beer garden with lots of trees so you can find a shady spot everywhere. Friendly staff. There are typical beer garden classics at normal beer garden prices. Toilets were clean.

Excellent location, big big garden and a beautiful interior as well. This place has been around for a long time and you can see why. The quality of the food and the service is very good. Plus, the place is big enough so that there is a chance of finding a table.

Great experience there! The staff is friendly, the service is efficient and the food was very tasty. You get very good portions for a very reasonable price. They have vegetarian options (see pictures). They also have a ‘counter’ outside with a grill and fries, perfect for a takeaway for instance. They are also generous on the beer! In addition, the location is perfect, just next to the ‘Blue Wonder’ and by the Elbe. Warmly recommend this place!

Very friendly atmosphere and servers. Classic Saxony building and menu. Order anything on the menu and you cannot go wrong. Sauerbrauten was excellent. I had the schnitzel and it was 5 stars. The others had the duck and loved it. Noticed kids from ages "just arrived last week" to teenagers and everyone was great so I'd say this is family friendly. Averaged about 25 euros per person which is quite reasonable in this area. Will definitely be back when I'm in Dresden again.

Excellent food, beer brewed in the basement, this 300 year old restaurant has a lovely view of the Blue Wonder Bridge on this less visited side of Dresden

Delicious German Cuisine

I love this place, so much style, so much history, beautiful food while sitting next to the river Elbe. I loved it as a child when I used to come here for lunch with my grandparents and I still love coming here with my own children 35 years later!

Great restaurant on the elbe river with a solid selection of Saxonian and German specialities. The food is very well prepared and if you look for "Gemütlichkeit" too, this is your place in Dresden.

Great garden for a nice walk.

A restaurant on the bank of Elbe river. We had a great dinner experience here. I had Saxon Sauerbraten (braised beef) with raisin sauce, red cabbage and apple and potato dumplings. My friend had trout meuniere with paprsley potatoes and a cucumber salad. We also had several rounds of beer. In the end, we enjoyed the view of Elbe river at night. It was summer and we had dinner under the sunshine which is quite peculiar for us.
